Currently...he needs 0 HDMI ports as the Plasma will be use to watch TV..so C10 should fit the bill nicely..but in future....thats another thing to take note...my take....get the S10ler...

Having seen both c10 and x10 side by side from near to 8ft away, I can't tell the difference in PQ. If price is your main concern for now, get the one the cheaper.

I personally would suggest s10, like azbro said.

Not at the moment bro...

Astro and soon to be TMNuts FTTH (Fibertothehome) will go HD...probably 720p or 1080i....that one CAN tell the difference between HDTV and SDTV

Based on his RM2500 budget and the fact that it is meant for his mum to watch TV/Astro, X10k would be the better alternative

agree with you.. biggrin.gif if watch astro and no budget, just settle for a decent brand 29" CRT flatscreen.. after all it match the astro ratio of 4:3.. no need the hassle of stretching the picture to 16:9 thumbup.gif

mayb u can consider extra rm500(20% extra) for 42s10 for FULLHD,for future usage. u might not need it now,mayb 1 year from now,who knows u might need it for,mayb for gaming or bluray or others. cheers
