Hi guys smile.gif

I need to travel to Japan soon, and thought of using CC there. Is it advisable? Will there be extra charges to use Amex overseas? How widely accepted is it there?

Or would Visa be a better choice to use there?

Thanks! =D

Having traveled to Japan many times over the years it is ok to use CC over there. There is never extra charges for AMEX overseas especially in Japan but you may find some smaller towns who prefer cash, else you will be alright - e.g. hotels, shopping centers...

Hi just got my AMEX Credit Card - I went to americanexpress.com.my and there was a login page. I registered and got a login id and password. However when I tried to put in the details of my credit card it says invalid four digit number. The four digit numbers are the ones on top of the credit card number right?

I am just wondering is this login thing for AMEX charge card only? Has anyone successfully managed to register their credit card with americanexpress.com.my web site?

Any advise is appreciated.

Thanks.
