AMEX will need to buckle up real fast. With this, people will start cancelling cards soon, and I believe the majority will hold on to at least one of their Visa and MC, do to their wide acceptance.

I guess this is it now. With MBB's decision to tax individual cards, I'm left with no choice but to cut my Ikhwan AMEX and keep my Ikhwan Visa Petronas. Will wait for a while though, as my anniversary is in July, and hopefully they can work something out to retain members. Now waiting for my 15% rebate from my shopping spree in KL. As things stand now, I have to say goodbye, dear AMEX friends.

My statement date is approaching, and I've yet to receive my cashback. Mega shopping spree at 1U and MV from 17-22 Dec. Do they still have the RM4mil during that period?

QUOTE(p0pc0rn @ Mar 10 2010, 02:51 PM) Let's say I'm a fresh grad with monthly basic RM2.3k, would I be eligible to apply for the Ikhwan Gold? Or would I have to wait until I get a promotion? Are they very strict on the income per annum minimum? Just give it a try. Most probably they will approve, but with a lower CL.
