current amex, to get 10k MR, need to swipe RM2k on 5x categories only.
this dual, to get 10k TP (not MR), can swipe RM2k anywhere.

10k TP cannot redeem for cash as MR, but can redeem voucher worth RM50.

my current amex can get about 35k MR/year so can get back about rm175.

if i change to this card, 35k TP can get rm150 vouchers.

but this maybankard dual can get back RM50/month (5% rebate on weekend).

my weekend spend is around rm300 so can get back around rm15 per month.

rm15x12 = rm180 already. more than my current MR cashback. then get extra rm150 vouchers.

total is rm330!

now, i might terminate my current amex before next annivessary month

i didnt participate. coz not shopping much. even if go to 1U or MV i will go to jusco only, which is excluded in the campaign
