I get full RM150 cash back for purchase of Sony LCD TV at Sunway pyramid in DEC. There is some problems for the billing date last few days...

Try to avoid any foreign hotel/ transportation booking using AMEX. The conversion rate is insanely high, imaging current euro is only 4.1X -4.20.
They are cheeky to charge me at a rate of 4.37. Wonder how they decide the rate as advertised in Maybank is still much lower. Forget it AMEX, I would not swipe you in oversea anymore... damn...

Going to make a complaint call to them today..

The registration needs twice sending...maybe that's how they make money...

I think this is why maybank offers two cards in one- a.ka. Maybankard 2 cards
it sounds quite attractive as the cash back 5% during weekend in which most people do their shopping!!!
In addition, the 5x TP everywhere spent on AMEX is another bonus point- just wonder are these features permanent or just over a short period as Maybank do not specify it! But i presume it should be full time.
I applied this through phone conversation with AMEx officer today.

It seems like my AMEX gold charge card does not have much advantage over this new card!!
But plus point for my charge card- no preset limit and also the new cards share total credit limit with my existing maybank platinum card.
