Bear in mind that the 15% cash back is capped at RM150 for spending of up to RM1000 per month at selected shopping centres. It is also subject to a maximum payout of RM4 mil which could be finishing soon.

With a budget of RM1000, you can get a pretty good handphone but obviously not a newer model.


Handphones in DiGi centre will not be cheaper than those sold in any other normal handphone shops.

I also saw the amex sign at the DigiSS @ 1Utama. New wing near cold storage. Ya got phone for sale.

That one I saw at the penang, it also got phone for sale.

Was at Pasta Zamai at 1U today, when paying bill asked them any CC got discount, they said no, so I gave them my Amex Charged Card and she said got 15% which is actually the cash back program.

Q at Sushi Zamai and Canton -i (which also accept Amex) damn long but not Pasta Zamai.

Also used my AMEX Gold CC at MPH, bill RM339, got RM20 (4 x RM5 vouchers), got 15% cash rebate, can get points for MPH member card and can get points for One Card.

Maybankard promo at 1U, spend RM200 get Christmas gift which is just a small table mat and free parking (if you take ticket but I used One card so did not get the free parking). Also got a free music box for spending above RM300 at One Card Service Counter + 2 calendars

..wow, that's why shopping is so addicted, more so when you have the right tools..hehehe...

Anyone got their 15% rebate yet ?? Or know when it will be paid back?

I spent almost 1k in the selected shopping centres in early Nov but still have not seen any sign of the rebates. Checked through my MBB2U but don't see it yet too.

For my other credit cards , it usually shows in the online account transactions shortly after the purchases ......

I think by now, they have already reached the maximum payout of RM4,000,000 for all Cardmembers. I hope they will announce it cos then, I will start to use back my other credit cards that has a rebate if Amex's 15% is not valid anymore. Cash Back / Rebate is the main priority for me.

RM150 rebate is consider very good d..

If I dun have the voucher I won't want to get from Digi Center also..

It will only be credited into your account after February next year. It is one of their tricks so that majority of current AMEX cardholders will not cancel their cards by year end.


New shirts for Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year. Or may be some expensive perfumes, so you'll smell nice whenever you hang out with the ladies

To be honest, I think this is quite a rip-off. So many people are spending extra thinking they can get the 15% cash back. When I think it could've already ended by now - the maximum payout of RM4 mil is most probably already up. Or very soon at least.

It's expected this kinda cashback takes way too long to get credited.

Well, they did state in their T&C that the rebate will be credited to your account after the promotion ends.

hey guys, when AMEX is under maybank means i can purchase stuffz from sony center without being charge 6% processing fees and get 15% cash return?
Coz when i ask the salesman at sony center, they said purchase with maybank CC will waive the 6% processing fees as maybank is their official bank.
Planning to get AMEX if these is applicable.
By the way, currently a lot place recognise & accepting AMEX?

UH....i c...only RM4 million to give out only. so sad....What about the easy payment for AMEX? Same with MAYBANK? Maybank hav easy payment up to 36months. I wanted to get Maybank 1 but now Maybank CC there written Maybank Islamic and summore got petronas logo. Not tat nais to c la...so i tot Amex is much better looking and IF they have the same or better benefit than Maybank. If not, no point rite if the card is nais to see but not nais to use.
