For those of you who haven't received your amex gold cc, you might wanna check with cs. Mine didn't come for weeks last time, and when I called up, apparently they sent it to the branch near my workplace -.-
Quite sure I ticked courier to house, but who knows

You are correct. Just called M2U CS and they delivered the card to the branch. However, I ticked to send to mailing address instead of branch.

Damn, they sent it there and I have collected without waiting their call or mail.

The Amex gold credit card does not bear maybank logo... so it is MR instead of TP lo...

Went to pay TNB bill yesterday and too sad that Amex is not accepted...!!!

Amex should think of a way to improve its acceptance in Malaysia.

Btw, I still feel Amex is more elegant (physical look) than other CC despite of it's poor acceptance...

Hi, lauyamonk. If you wouldn't mind, I have a question to ask you on the Amex Credit Card account number. My last 5 digit on my Amex Gold Credit Card is quite inauspicious. So many numeric " 4 " on it. Anyway that I could request the last 5 digit to be change? It's not the same as the Gold Charge Card, each time I request for a replacement card on my Gold Charge Card due to damages, the last 5 digit will change automatically. But for this Gold Credit Card, even though I requested for a replacement card because it was damaged, the last 5 digit still remain the same. Any special numbers given to VIP's especially for those who are very particular about the digit " 4 " ? As for me, can you advise me how can change the last 5 digit other than reporting it lost ? Thanks.

I went to the branch without waiting the call or mail. I told them that I received call to get card... Actually I just tried my luck to see if it has arrived.

Luckily it was there and arrived yesterday. The office told me wanted to call but just yesterday only.

This problem is not unique to Malaysia. Even in United States, the country where American Express came from has the exact same problem. But then AMEX is no VISA nor Mastercard. AMEX is aiming mainly at the upper middle class and above people with high disposable income and AMEX is accepted mostly at big corporations only such as those high-end private label stores in KLCC and Pavillion. Companies such as TNB and Telekom are simply too common but hey, at least you still can pay using your TNB/Telekom bills using AMEX through auto-debit.

The Amex express autopay form contains max 2 accounts for each of the services and I am wondering if we can subscribe for more than 2 accounts for a particular service provider?

5X points only applicable to fixed line telephone, mobile phone bill and internet service also. I have Amex Gold chargecard... Are they the same for 5X as well?

No. None of the charge cards give 5X MR.

AFAIK, the autopay with 5x only valid for Amex's Amex Gold Credit Card. Not the charge card. You may use the charge card for autopay also, but I think will get normal 2x only.

You may try submit multiple form for >2 accounts each. Not sure will go through or not.
