This has been discussed over and over again that even though your AMEX Platinum/Gold credit card (without any Maybank logo on top of the card) points are listed as TP in your M2U, they are actually earning MR and if you also have any VISA/Mastercard from Maybank, you[ B]cannot[/B] the points to redeem for gifts. Winner, Tgeoklin, Tinkerbel, GHz, Reventon etc. have mentioned about this here so many times sweat.gif

I just used my Amex Plat CC at Parkson Sunway Pyramid, will check the MR points by tomorrow to see whether got 10x points or not. tongue.gif

Yes, Parkson still the 10X Platinum Partner for Amex Plat CC and Plat Charge Card. I bought something from Parkson last week and the 10X MR Points was credit in after that. wink.gif

I received my Amex Plat CC with the Welcome Pack last month. It has a booklet on the latest 10X Platinum Partners in the Welcome Pack. Parkson was listed on the last column of the booklet. So.. last week, I went shopping in 1U Parkson in Bandar Utama to buy a pair of my wife shoes at RM61.00. I checked the Maybank2U.com, I found that the RM61.00 already posted in together with the 610 Membership Rewards Points in the points column.

Yes. Can be combined. You have to call the Amex CS to combine your points before redemption because Amex Charge Card MR Points only shown on the Amex website: www.americanexpress.com.my.

I thought the booklet is not up to date, as I can checked from the website, Parkson is out of the list... sad.gif
Anyway, I have checked from M2U, it's really 10x!!! I get 799 MR from what I bought last night at Parkson!!!!

It's good then. biggrin.gif Should ask Amex to update the website. Btw, there is an Amex promotion with Metrojaya recently, where you'll get RM30 voucher for RM300 spending in a single receipt, equivalent to 10% cash back.

Added on October 12, 2009, 5:03 pmRegarding my previous question about my AMEX Plat CC in M2U display as "Account is not authorised". I called again to the card centre, this time not MBB, but directly to AMEX.
I told him the problem which I facing now, the customer service personel said that he will come back to me with 2-3 days.

I really like the way he respond to my question, really pro!!!

As for me, it took about 3 working day to show in M2U.

received my second paper statement.

no sign of any RM5 being charge for the statement.

i thinks if i did not go click request for the paper statement or e-statement, MBB cant charge me RM5.

haha... anyways, its my 2 cents.

It depends on luck. I waited exactly 1 month from submission of application form till receipt of the card. Some forummers said they received cards in 2-3 weeks, while numerous people including my colleague complained about inefficiency of Amex/MBB as they received the cards in 2-3 MONTHS!

haha.. i saw the amex card info is showing in M2U last Thursday but till now pun haven't received it. 2 months now from submission date.
