Need an advise on which studio monitor to get.

Would like to get a studio monitor for home listening. I'm listening to FLAC format on my built in sound (which I plan to upgrade later). Currently listening on ATP3 which is basically a 2.1 gaming speakers. It is ok but I want to have more vocal and mids with tight bass. My budget around RM1500 or lower if possible since I'm only listening for fun.

Also, would it be ok for me to use studio monitors to play movie and games? It will not degrade the sound quality over time, right?

Just wondering.. do you have Emotiva Airmotiv series?
