QUOTE(silbii @ Mar 24 2010, 11:04 PM) its' similar to Patriot...i got it - quite good actually but it has some issues reading a few MPEG4 files ...other than that it's pretty awesome...but for the price, there's probably a lot more better and cheaper options here...like the HDPro etc thks for replying, what MPEG4 is that? HDPro a lot better? i suppose other m/c should have similar performance as they are using the same chipset?try finding reviews on Patriot Media Player over the net -most probably from US customers...most of them are pretty happy with it... my take - if you wanna buy it, bring your portable HDD with some of your fav files and try them on the Phantom before you buy it... the networking is quite good as well... |

media player evolves too fast, faster than hp & cpu, hope the + could support BDMV / ISO menu, no need another ++ to cater for this

QUOTE(adamw @ Feb 28 2011, 12:15 PM) There's a thread for the Eaget I think, so better ask there for quicker response. I can only answer you on the HiMedia. So far am very happy with their firmware update support. agree, himedia has a very strong firmware team to tackle bugs and new features add-onand there are many customized / DIY non-official firmware can be found too |

to 2nd gen realtek owners in gigabit lan setup, what is your tx speed via network? tested my frenz unit, it is hovering at 6mbps (with ntfs) and about 10mbps if formatted to ext3, seems like no different with 10/100mbps, ...was told due to realtek chipset limitation, then what is the point of having gigabit lan wor?
appreciate ur input, thks Added on March 15, 2011, 12:29 am QUOTE(RayKazansky @ Mar 7 2011, 01:47 PM) bought hd300a for my frenz, solid built, the best thing is macam macam non-official firmware can get frm china forums, good for those like to try new things, value buy at rm290 imoThis post has been edited by sotong168: Mar 15 2011, 12:29 AM |
