Why only Dvico? All those Sigma based Popcorn hour & clones also have this function. Even the Egreat 34H can do it.

I've tested the following files...

these files are supported (means smooth video playback with audio internally decoded without any problem):

Youtube downloaded 1280x720 MP4
Youtube downloaded 610x360 FLV
WMV-HD Coral Reef Adventure (1080p WMA9 5.1).WMV
DivX Video Anytime, Anywhere 1080p.DIVX
Dolby 5.1 Egypt.VOB
Dolby Bit Harvest (1080p Dolby Digital 5.1).M2TS
DTS 5.1 Sonic Landscape.VOB
DTS Orchestra Lossless (1080i DTS HD Master Audio 7.1).M2TS
DTS SFX DTS 96-24.VOB
DTS-ES Sparks.VOB
The Dark Knight Trailer 1080p.MOV

these files can be played smoothly but the audio cannot be decoded internally, which means no sound. (i cannot test bitstream as i don't have AVR yet):

Dolby Bit Harvest Lossless (1080p Dolby TrueHD 7.1).M2TS
Dolby Digital Plus Lossless (1080i Dolby Digital+ 7.1).M2TS

i don't have video cam to record the "actual performance". but base on smooth playback of this:
CODE
Complete name: C:\XXXXX\DTS Orchestra Lossless (1080i DTS HD Master Audio 7.1).m2ts
Format: BDAV
Format/Info: Blu-ray Video
File size: 99.0 MiB
Duration: 21s 779ms
Overall bit rate: 38.1 Mbps
Maximum Overall bit rate: 48.0 Mbps

..i would say, not bad huh brows.gif

decoded internally for DTS-MA is probably just decoding DTs core track... not really decode the actual HD track..

Don't make people jealous lah, the realtek based TrueHD issue is going to be a never ending story it seems! But the PSS damn good, stream a DVD quality movie without any lag, but the player seems to take over all the bandwith though until all my donwloading on the PC completely stop!

the changes will be permanent or not?

Also does that disable the internal HDD at the same time?
