Need some help. I'm having that possibly hax/compromised account merge battle.net thingy going on. Just found out yesterday after missing out for 8mths. So I emailed Bilzz and they replied they cant help thru email and to give their support line a call.

Just found out that it's like very cheap to make international calls, so I decided to make the call. Question is, should I call the US, AUS or Singapore representatives... or something else?

Many thanks!

Call the US number --> +1 949 955 0283

I called about a month ago, had to wait around 15mins as I was put on hold by the tele system. It was around 12 - 1am, which is like 9am PST there.

Be prepared with your details such as billing address, answer to secret Q, etc.

I had to call blizz US when my account was hacked as well. Do call during US working hours and be prepared to wait. The plus point .. they play music from diablo and all their games ..quite entertaining really. Quite efficient and the staff are quite responsive.

Hotlink doesn't look cheap. I thought TMTalk was cheaper at 8 cents a min but that was quite a few years ago. Could be cheaper now and can call using a mobile although not sure how much is it on a Maxis mobile account.

If they ask you to call them, do the initial call at least. I think they want to verify that you are indeed a person behind the account. Make sure that you have all your personal details with you as well as your character details and CD Key.

I had to call Blizz support for the first time in my 2 years ++ of WoW-ing due to a hacking about 4/5 days ago. Note that you will not need your CD Keys if you know the answer to your secret question. Was on hold for nearly 20 minutes but I guess the Diablo2/Warcraft theme music you listen to while waiting isn't that bad.

One thing tho, I had to call 101 and ask them to dial Blizz for me.. somehow couldn't dial +19 1800-592-5499 by myself directly, just keep getting an engaged tone and not Blizzard's IVR recording. This was from a TM home line by the way. Didn't try from mobile.

i tot land line was more expensive... like 90cents per min???

anyways, i got my issue solved thru email after i've sending them my 2nd email stating that im from malaysia and doing a international call is expensive. they fix the prob and kind enough to merge my wow acc to my email as well. i wonder what changed their mind? hmhmm... anyways many thx for the helpful response. will come in handy the nex time when NEED to call blizz.

on the side note, after i've gained control of my account back, i can confirmed i was hacked. not naked, lost most of my gold, lost some epics and wielding greenies AND... my ingame name was changed. No wonder i cant find my char in wowarmory. well, i'm just glad i got my char back.

just send an ingame mail to GM - or send a item/character restoration to their account management team

it might take days to respond - and dont expect a 100% refund/fixing, because certain data could be lost due to the time frame

anyhow, nice to see a fellow WoW back, and best of luck in your adventures!

Took them 4 days to respond to me. I don't think data would be that easily lost. I get the feeling that they probably have some storage somewhere but to what extend, we dunno.
