There will be four return trips to Kuala Lumpur and one right up to Seremban daily.

Two of them are express services. The first express services, which leaves Ipoh at 4am, will stop only at Batu Gajah, Kampar. Tanjung Malim, Kuala Lumpur and KL Sentral, while the second express service at 2pm will proceed to Bandar Tasik Selatan, Nilai, and Seremban.

The express services from KL Sentral are at 6.20am , and 6.48pm. The travelling time between Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur is one hour and 50 minutes.

The three transit services, scheduled at 5.30am, 11.15am and 6.30pm, will stop at the following stations, Batu Gajah, Kampar, Tapah Road, Sungkai, Slim River, Behrang, Tanjung Malim, Rawang, Kuala Lumpur and KL Sentral.

Leaving KL Sentral at 8.30am, 2pm and 9pm. Travelling time is two hours and 15 minutes.

Each train service consists of six coaches with a seating capacity for 350 passengers.

The one way (Ipoh-KLSentral) ‘promotional fare’ valid for a period of six months is priced at RM30.

Whoa! Nice trains! I hope next time when I'm in the car waiting for the train to pass, I won't hear "ZZZHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" but silent. Because it's electric right?

Yes, the sound should be similar to KTM Komuter trains.

More expensive than current train ticket for sure.

For sure, ETS ticket price should be more expensive than existing ones, as it is faster and electric, so in a way, this is considered to be premium service...

Want cheaper service, take diesel train then.

Nope, KLIA Ekspres train is from Germany and this one used by KTMB, from South Korea...

It will have canteens for sure, then power points, and toilets.

I doubt, this train is EMU, whereas the older trains are consist of locomotives + coaches that are easily changed.

No such question as being conned.

New Zealand bought electric trains from Mitsui (Japan), but the trains are manufactured by Hyundai in Korea.
