Low should call up Kiessling (Bayer Leverkusen). He is a very good striker.

yes, but i prefer Loew stick with either Volland or try Mueller again as ST.

already 30 yrs old iinm.

Gomez never really play last season due to his injury, I believe that if he can hit top form again..he will be in the squad.

He scored a lot of goals, but i think Low prefer other options for some reason. hmm.gif Well, since Klose retired, time for Volland and who elsea. biggrin.gif To step up.. nod.gif

Kiessling is 30 years old lol. tongue.gif
He missed a large chunk of last season IINM. Used to be my favorite striker at Bayern.

Kiessling is more consistent imo. A good finisher

yeah, but I prefer Kiessling more than Gomez & Volland atm. It's really hard to find a German poacher like Klose sad.gif

So performance-wise I would rank:

1. Kiessling
2. Volland
3. Gomez
4. Schurrle

Muller better as a RW

I think Volland should be given a chance. Mueller is best at RW cause he plays as a SS during attacks.

Mario Gomez determined to earn Germany recall after missing World Cup win due to injury as Fiorentina striker insists: 'I will come back to the national team'

Mario Gomez labelled last season 'the ugliest of his career' after injuries kept him sidelined and out of the Germany World Cup-winning squad in Brazil

Confident Gomez: 'I obviously want and will come back to the national team'

Fiorentina striker has 59 caps and 25 goals to his name but former Bayern Munich star has not played for Germany since August 2013 against Paraguay

Reus, Gomez in German squad for Argentina friendly

FRANKFURT, Germany — Germany has recalled 18 World Cup players for next week's friendly against Argentina, a repeat of the final in Brazil.

The friendly in Duesseldorf on Sept. 3 is the first match for both teams since the July 13 final at Maracana in Rio de Janeiro, when Mario Goetze scored in extra time to give Germany its fourth World Cup title.

Argentina comes with a new coach, Gerardo Martino, while Germany will be without three players who have retired from international duty — Miroslav Klose, former captain Philipp Lahm and Per Mertesacker.

Coach Joachim Loew included forward Marco Reus and striker Mario Gomez, who missed the World Cup. Reus was injured in the final warm-up match one day before the team left for Brazil, while Gomez was dropped.

Too many chances in the first half that could have been a goal.
Easily could have been 4-2 first half. Gomez terrible lol..
