maybe not for this WC campaign..and if i'm not mistaken he still on loan..but his goals for hamburger is quite solid..i will be quite surprise if Jogi call him up..but we never know..form and performance over big names..

Nah .. on the 10th of May a wider squad will be named by the German officials.

if we look at the poster..Mario Gomez almost for sure a starter for this WC..I hope he can do better than the previous time people put him as first choice striker.

how he perform at seria a with fiorentina?? compared with miroslav klose at lazio??

terrible season.. even this WC still in doubt for him..

Klose also decline from the previous two season at Lazio..

Striker..really a problem for Germany..

we might see young striker this WC..

Germany got striker and defender problems -> hard to win against top teams like Spain, Italy etc.

defender still ok...its only they lack the pure good striker...but they got a lot of good player than can play second striker/false 9...

yeah....german really lack good pure striker....the best striker at bundesliga is not german...

Name me some German defenders who are stable in this season.

Lahm (DL) (Capitano) is the only one I know but he is DM at the moment (Bayern)
Hummels (DC): sometimes world class but not always. Make some mistakes when
Boateng (DC): recently not stable
Mertesacker (DC): same like Hummels
Germany always had problems for the (DR)-position. Schmelzer is injured (not world class)

Striker: Reus (my fav player btw ) can play but he's more powerful as a left winger.
False 9: Goetze - He's good but I doubt that he can fullfill this role for the offensive play à l'Allemagne.
Germany need a good finisher like Klose or Gomez but they're not fit for tournaments resp. important games

those defender you mentioned is still good enough to carry german although sometimes their form is not stable....plus backup like Grosskreutz, Jansen....maybe they only short of backup....badstuber is currently injured n will likely miss the flight to brazil...

for false 9 tactic player apart from the name you mentioned other player like thomas muller( good choice), lukas podolski (his current form is not really good), mesut ozil (more like attacking midfield/play behind striker) can play there...
