Boateng on the right? I know he can play anywhre back four but he played CB all the way for munich(It's been a long time since he play as a full back right?). Why not field lahm RB to handle CR?

doesnt matter much where lahm play..cr can switch flank..boateng on the right is a gamble for me..maybe germany want to play one active fullback and one inactive defensive fullback..

good job Gomez. finally he managed to score a clear cut chance. kinda worry about both full back; getting skinned a lot by portugese. Hummels is a class act. definitely motm for me. well, Nauer came close in second

must not give a lot ball to dutch like second half of this game. I am not worried about set pieces, ze german is very strong in defending set pieces

for me, i chose her..

good we win! but i think that's not the performance that Germany played. they should give more.

dont know much about German defensive options, but Hummels is class defender.. young and cool. i think collectively they defend OK, not as good as i initially thought. maybe because their CMs werent really protected the back 4.

but Hummels and Neuer saved the day.

im a neutral, satisfy with the game though it was only one goal..
