satio can install garmin n unsigned application?

If buy AP set satio, can update the firmware ourself?
or is tat will like the nokia need to change the product code otherwise will not get the chinese input??

AP set hv chinese input and can update firmware without losing the chinese input?

my bro facing the problem on last SE P1 after update firmware the chinese input missing....so i wan to ask are tis satio AP set having the same problems and how to solve it???
