Salesman: it's RM2699 and we do have ready stock now Me: (overly excited now) Great!! Can i have bl... Sorry, but aren't it supposed to be RM2499? Salesman: Oh, that's the price for pre-ordered customer, walk-in customer is RM2699... Me: Are you sure??!! It's advertised in paper and on Sony Online stores... Salesman: Yes (and walked off)... QUOTE(squall_kay @ Nov 8 2009, 10:14 PM) for newly launch phones is like that. last time when i bought my 5800, i went to 2 nokia official kiosk, one quote 1499, another one quote 1599. lastly i bought from normal shop but Avaxx ori one at 1390. Is there any *reputable* shop which I can go to?? Everyone is saying Ori set.. but how do we confirm it? Midlands Warranty card?how about u try to ask the ori set Satio from normal shop. not from Sony center or Sony style. |

QUOTE(nicholasbeh @ Nov 9 2009, 02:45 PM) RRP now should be 2699 if im not mistaken. From my experience, they are just milking the hype of the release.. once the hype is over, they will reduce price back to Sony RRP.. Aino is selling at 1,999 compared to earlier which DynaCum was selling at 2099...Added on November 9, 2009, 2:48 pmowner of Satio.let me know ur Colour. |

Hi,
If it's not stereo bluetooth, what's the point... I planning to get SE's MW600 as the HBH IS800 is too expensive... Still no news on the exact location of purchase.... |

Hi all,
As promised, here is my Day1 review.. 1. Used PC Suite to migrate all my contacts, calendar and what not from HTC TP to Satio = Excellent tool 2. UI = Could have been better with customizable tab on the Home screen. Good responsiveness.. though the Satio can be easily confused between landscape mode or potrait 3. SMS messaging = good landscape keyboard, nice interface... I was cursing abt lack of threaded SMS feature until i stumbled onto the *Conversation* tool on Entertainment\Chat\ tab.. pai seh 4. Photo/Music folder = Coming from a storage perspective, i think it would be better if we can choose which photo album to display or which music folder to be played... Now, it just show/play all... So for those fella who like to store intimate photo on the phone, ps be aware that's easily accessible... 5. Call function = Nothing but good comments... 6. Camera = haven't fiddle with but 1st round candid shots are good.. Bro Aruja, Can you share with me, how long does IS800 last? Thanks.. |

QUOTE(Darkmage12 @ Nov 13 2009, 09:05 AM) What does the conversation function do? So far I seldom try other stuff just that my phone already clocked around 5 hours of conversation....nothing wrong with the call function haha It's not the voice conversation but sms conversation... If you are familiar with WinMo devices, the SMS from the same number plus ur own reply will be grouped together.. Looks kinda like chat page..U can go to shortcut tab and access the *conversation* app from there. QUOTE(yangxi @ Nov 13 2009, 09:57 AM) Yes, ps refer to the above answer. |

QUOTE(yangxi @ Nov 13 2009, 11:50 AM) ok. thanks. hope this application bind into inbox area. This app will draw out the contents from inbox/sent items and merge accordingly...another question.. Satio can't show all contact (miss , in/out incoming call) U meant a master page to view it all? Nope, still using std phone OS style... |

QUOTE(aruja_69 @ Nov 13 2009, 12:32 PM) To me the IS800 sound is superb with Satio but the downside it volume max is not damn loud if u want to used it outside. Be prepare for it. If u are the LRT..charm lor...hehehehe. Disvantage of the headset is doesnt have rewind and forward function. Only stop or call come in then after conversion it auto goes to the song you are listening. Battery life is bit downside. ya man, battery life is a dealbreaker for me.. Hence looking for MW600 instead.. According to the shops, still not release yet. they suspect it's another phantom product from SE... |

QUOTE(ehklee @ Nov 15 2009, 08:36 PM) It's been one week since I got my Satio. I believe the biggest drawback of this phone is the battery. Im not sure about others, I am charging my phone almost everyday. By the way, I never turn off my handphone and let it on overnight. I know the battery is 1000 mAH. Any users out there experience the same as mine? If no, guess I need to send it back to Midland already. Me spent a good 3 days snapping photos with my Satio.. Attended a malay wedding thus 3 days.. Battery life for me sustained me up to 2 days b4 next charge. I snapped abt 300+ photos over 3days.. running default mode which included flash... |
