Well from my source they're selling 550 euro in europe. In ringgit terms it's around 2.8k. Info was picked up from amazon & other europe stores since they're starting to take orders. But on our local asia market could be around 2.6k-2.7k . Around the price of 3gs since they both share the same processing chip. However I doubt symbian can fully unleash the powerVR SGX graphics feature.

Future owner of satio spotted!!! Pana, you're looking forward to this phone?
If there's a drop in pricing within a month of sales, this indicates the sales is doing bad. Really it will trigger a bad image for SE.

Well If it's going to price at 3k. The camera feature better be good or else it's just a big hype on the megapixel capability.

I share the same thought. But if SE were to jack up the price, they better make sure it's worth every penny. Most of their phones are overrated since the 1st 768 model from ericsson. Lets just sit back and watch.

True selling point is that it comes with both LED & Xenon. Means night shot for camera, superb. Low lighting videos? Never fear. It's quite smart of SE to integrate both lighting features on the phone

Pretty much I think it's symbian's limitation. Not to criticize but I still think the menu interface in Nokia looks much better. Front UI is intuitive though.

Interesting, there has been some comparison between this phone with pixon12. Apparently from the result we can see this phone excels in outdoor scenery shots. Colours are vibrant and nice. But under low light conditions, pixon12 still wins hands on. Esp for indoor shots. Possibly the high ISO sensitivity of the camera sensor.

So this is how they're going to market their phone. Guess, they've chose to follow how htc touch 2's marketing strategy.

QUOTE(Darkmage12 @ Oct 29 2009, 01:28 AM) not agreement la....must be some sort of bypass aka crack? Previously Symbian was confined under Nokia. They'd slowly opened up the doors of the symbian to other companies. Which is why you're slowly seeing more and more symbian devices in the market. Key note is they want the OS to dominate the market. You can surf around the web for more details.

Not sure if it's fragile but most jphone comes with it. Imagine our local users feeds in the sim and had to lay a layer of bypass sim on it. To me, I find the sim tray somewhat strong and durable. not sure the same characteristic is shared with satio. But my bet is, they should be the same as there would be a standard guide in designs

Bypass sim is used to fool the locked device. Lock device means the handset can only operate on the preset telco. You will need to chip off a portion of the sim allowing the microchip to feed in properly.

QUOTE(yuhhaur @ Nov 10 2009, 09:27 AM) NO.... Not the C905 Phone Hang problem again... ** Stay low to observe the reviews ** Happy Birthday. My guess is it's a common problem among symbians. N97 is a good example. Just hope they roll out the firmware update asap.

QUOTE(Darkmage12 @ Nov 13 2009, 08:34 PM) hi just wondering if Satio has RAM inside? gsmarena shows 128MB....is that our internal memory? That's the random access memory. Pretty much like your PC ram.

Oops, sorry, The ram is 256mb, while the rom is 128mb. If that's the case, you can theoretically store them in the Rom. But I'm not sure if SE allows it. 128 is kinda small.

QUOTE(jiaqi1993 @ Nov 14 2009, 01:43 PM) 128mb is enough for a phone. to me i dont really need that much capacity to store so many things inside n cause my phone become slow.@@ maybe i dont like to use my phone as mp3 . haha and, is satio able to play any 720p video? Theoretically, ROM should run faster than external memory. The reason why we need more room is to ensure more software installed in ROM can run faster. Running applications from external memory might deteriorate the performance experience. Thus, if you have media it's advisable to store them on external storage for convenience. It's a bit sad to see satio walking the same path as k850. The camera is below satisfactory. Hopefully they will workout the issue soon.

3 films only? I think the major concern would be the edges. Sticking it on protects the surface, not the edges. You might encounter peel off from the edges after prolong usage.

major difference between the two would be physical QWERTY and high MP camera. Rest is on hardware component difference. Satio has better processor and comes with 3d accelerated engine. However both run under the same OS. Thus they share the same application platform. My pick would be satio unless nokia fixes the camera lense cover issue.
