yeah i agree with some...I dont have to use Media Go to transfer the files, although i did use it once to see where the files where transferred to so that i know where i can put them without using it,
now im not using Media Go just transfer as Mass Storage to directly to the folder, sadly both of the games i downloaded from the SE Entertainment Asia Portal is still locked, managed to download it but im still waiting for an activation SMS, called SE Malaysia but no action from them , when i launch it it states that its been launched code 100, |

QUOTE(ijat91 @ Nov 24 2009, 06:00 PM) Yeah, i already install, it work, but you need to know, when using it, it take time to load it map I have experience using garmin on nokia 5800. I just wanna know the stability of garmin on satio.file, so if you browse the map, wait for it to load the map or it will crash |

To all user of Satio.
Is is worth buying this phone from your opinion? I'm considering buying this phone but currently hearing mix feelings on the phone. My main purpose of getting this phone is GPS, Camera and Sound. |

QUOTE(Shreddy @ Nov 25 2009, 10:55 AM) To all user of Satio. worth or not worth id still not comment since i barely had the time to properly test the phone, work load has been a killer but i intend to put through its paces this weekend, from what ive used it still has bugs here and there but it something expected from a company who's releasing a phone with a software totally alien to them, with a few firmware updates im sure Satio will be up thereIs is worth buying this phone from your opinion? I'm considering buying this phone but currently hearing mix feelings on the phone. My main purpose of getting this phone is GPS, Camera and Sound. GPS- Good, its pretty accurate, just that you need to know how to install it (Garmin) Camera - Absolutely Great Sound - Get a good headset, you'll be set coz the quality of output from the speakers is kinda low Ill be posting a proper feedback next week, battery life is ok for me..lasts for 1.5-2 days (calls, sms and some photos here and there) |

QUOTE Adding insult to Sony Ericsson's injurious bottom line, Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U shops (the UK's largest mobile phone retailers) have halted sales of the SE's Symbian-powered Satio handset after a high number of customer returns and complaints. A "software glitch" reportedly causes Sony Ericsson's flagship device to power down when users try to access certain applications -- unfortunately, the issue can't be patched via an over-the-air update. A little digging into CPW discussion forums reveals multiple complaints of freezes, crashes, under-performing batteries, and bizarre interface behavior. Both the Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U will offer "new phones" to customers fed up with their Satio. Richard Dorman, senior marketing manager at Sony Ericsson, concedes the issue and assures us that it should be sorted by Christmas. Until then, you can still purchase the handset directly from Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile... but really, why would you? The Satio's not the only dubiously-spec'd 12 megapixel cameraphone on the market. http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/busi...icle6928737.ece |

QUOTE(chess_gal @ Nov 20 2009, 12:16 AM) well, to further simplify, it is after change wallpaper, then change from classic menu to any one of the other 4. then the options located at the bottom part of the screen will just disappear, the shortcut keys will be haywired. my satio also got the same problem...therefore i m taking my satio to SE singapore for repairing.. |

yes finally managed to get configure my Satio, just to the way i like it
had sometime to play around, ill just post some PROS and CONS from my experience of using this phone so far CONS: Auto-Rotatee -has a mind of its own, it just take a slight tilt for it to rotate Phone doenst turnoff like what you expect - , not sure about the model for the others but my when i turn if off, it goes blank then immediately flashes the Symbian Main Menu page where you have the icons for the Logs , Messages, Contacts for 3 seconds before it turns itself off Battery Life - I seem to charge it every day, probably because i use it heavily Inadaquate Flash - so in poor lighting condition it tends to suffer abit PROS Fast - Its fast for a Symbian..heck it loads up damn fast too, mine takes 30 secs from cold powerup to making calls Lightweight- For its size this thing is light and you barely notice that its inside your pocket Camera - great photos during daylight Wow Factor classic look on their faces when they see the 12.1 sign at the back managed to install a few apps on it...its working but generally i think if anything that is going to put you from buying this phone its the software, still has teething issues with Symbian and SE ..for example, the Garmin app will request to be launched intermittently everytime disconnect it after i transfer something to the phone, havent tried it without Garmin though, but if youre willing to overlook that and indeed it does have it own fair share of bugs (which new product hasnt?) this is a fantastic phone to use... hoping that SE will have a proper firmware to fix all this negligible issues in the near future |
