QUOTE(Pennywise @ Oct 14 2009, 04:30 AM) Wow, RRP is RM2699, so we can find generally RM100 - Rm200 cheaper from phone shops right? Black is nice, I'd go with it but hope there wont be any shortage. I seen Garmin installed on it but havent actually see it work. Some of the camera output posted on the net seems nice too. Bahagia.. that's what I was saying earlier. unless money grows on trees I don't think there will be any shortage

QUOTE(squall_kay @ Oct 14 2009, 05:46 AM) hope later on, SE will eliminate the use of scroll bar n implement kinetic scrolling through all the menus (including classic s60v5's menu). at least it will be more consistent. That's not up to SE, SE did their part by adding kinetic scrolling on top of S60 and they can't do more since it's not their proprietary OS (like UIQ). It's up to the Symbian S60 developers to develop kinetic scrolling support throughout the UI This post has been edited by mode893: Oct 14 2009, 11:53 AM

Let's look forward to it then. Has there been more review on the Symbian Os since it's running on SE for the first time?

Pretty much I think it's symbian's limitation. Not to criticize but I still think the menu interface in Nokia looks much better. Front UI is intuitive though.

QUOTE(Darkmage12 @ Oct 15 2009, 12:12 AM) oh so its the OS meaning other phones on this OS also face the problems mentions? What I understand is Symbian S60v5 doesn't deliver user touchscreen experience as what HTC and other phone did. Need more enhancement on the UI and touch experience.

@Pennywise yeah Satio is Symbian OS based but Satio able to support very limited 3rd party applications only. Nokia Symbian OS based phone always have extra advantages compare to the other brands Symbian OS(because Nokia=Symbian,Symbian=Nokia.Nokia take over Symbian on 2008) For example,a lot of application available at OVI store and just support Nokia phone.(my bro's i8910HD fail to install it.)

@nicholasbeh, But whatever you find that can install on a Nokia Symbian OS should be able to install on SE's Symbian or even Samsungs, no?
Yes, I am aware that Ovi and Symbian belongs to Nokia but Symbian come out a year already now?
Is it safe to say all future Symbian app should work with Symbian OS of any phone?
