I am also keen on doing this. Opening Singapore savings account to invest in Singapore shares. However my remisier is advising me against opening Singapore CDS account. He mentioned that I may miss out on 'corporate actions'.
May I know what are the pros and cons of trading Singapore shares via Malaysia and directly in Singapore? What are the requirements needed to open Singapore CDS account?
