hello guys, am a newbie, was wondering who distributes Yamaha AV products in malaysia and any recommendations on where to get them from? thanks!!

If you are in Klang Valley, Harvey Norman@Ikano is a good place to visit whereby you are able to do audition of the products on display there. Do note however that it does not carry a comprehensive range of Yammy products though. Desa HT@Kepong is another alternative but I find the sales people there too pushy. I'm sure there are other alternatives too but that's all that comes to mind atm

Harvey Norman Ikano, Pavilion, midvalley Megamall all got their mini showrooms for Yamaha AV products. Only Sunway Pyramid yet to have one.

Besides Yamaha, you can also find mini showrooms for Onkyo/Jamo, Pioneer etc.

where to find yamaha avr u mean?

HN mutiara d'sara got top of the range model z11 on display/demo.
Desa kepong got 2nd & 3rd from top of range model z7 & 3900
a&l got only 1900 & below.

btw, why limit urself to only yamaha?

last i saw one small corner at Jusco Midvalley Megamall
got a technician/prmoter there ready to brief n answer ur queries wit sample set available to demo to u

Kedai Yamaha only sells pianos and guitars.

Yamaha AVR, this is the easiest AVR brand you can find, easily available at almost every electrical and audio chains.

Seng Heng also do sell Yamaha AVR + speakers
