Just an update... the battery life of this phone is awsome. Last charged 6 days ago and still 15% left, both GSM and 3.5G on, bluetooth off. Average daily usage pattern - 30min of wifi (browsing, fring skype call, etc), 20 sms, 5 min of call (not an avid talker thought). Worth it.

It means that the current hardware / firmware is really bad. No wonder lots of people face the dead motherboard problem. Luckily mine is okay. Running fine for the past month.

Firmware 022.009 is out on NSU / FOTA. Go & get it.
"A couple of words on FOTA, as you guys are interested. The main difference between NSU and FOTA is the mechanism how the phone, in your case the E52, is updated. In FOTA the update is applied with a differential package, which results in a far smaller update package that you are downloading compared to NSU, where package sizes range from tens of megs up to over hundred megs. Another difference is the way how the update is applied to the phone: in NSU it is actually the PC that writes the SW into the phone. In FOTA the phone "rewrites" itself. This highlights the importance of a solid cable connection between PC and the phone when using NSU. Allthough it is recommended to make a backup prior to a FOTA update, it is in practice not necessary as FOTA is not changing any of the user's data. NSU might, depends on the product in question.
