QUOTE(HeadHunty @ Apr 30 2010, 03:45 PM) Yeah. To be fair that's my concern as well. As many of the E52 units that send back to Nokia centre because of the button will corn off if you put inside in your pocket and yes i'm a guy. Can you please clarify further?

If yours under warranty, get Nokia to do a complete clean installation. Better than self updating.

QUOTE(yklip @ May 11 2010, 10:15 PM) I downloaded it from the Nokia Software Updater I have a strong suspicion it is better to take it to the Nokia Care center to do a complete flash and re-install of the firmware instead of doing piecemeal updates yourself. It is similar to doing a complete Window OS re-installation vs constant updating. I based my suspicion on ending up with more phone memory by doing it at NCC vs doing it myself, about 10MB more. The downside is, you better back up all your data before sending to NCC.

QUOTE(Lanujang @ Jun 23 2010, 08:15 AM) just bought for my wife RM950 at Care4 KL. avaxx set. silver color. updated to latest firmware. super fast. i tot faster than my e72. good battery. so far so good. thanks all for the info posted here. These smartphone are like computer. Brand new always fast. After using for sometimes and installing application, speed bound to slow down. To regain 'fastness', go to Nokia Care center and do a complete clean reformat/re-install.

QUOTE(alucard_my @ Jul 26 2010, 04:16 PM) Just upgraded to 4gb. The camera is so so, but the video recording is so good. It is way way better than my pocket pc which suffers from poor framerate in low light and soft recording volume. In good daylight and no macro shot, the photos is pretty good in fact. Very good.

QUOTE(ping0613 @ Aug 9 2010, 10:42 AM) indeed. E72 is much better than e52. especially its camera. You have to define what do you mean by "better". Yes, E72 has better camera because it has autofocus. But E52 is lighter to carry in pocket. Yes, E72 has QWERTY but they are too small for some people so they opts for the bigger keyed E52.

QUOTE(Andyzz @ Sep 24 2010, 04:51 AM) a lot of bad review not only in GSM arena but lowyat too..i think i will stay far from this phone ... scared later it died on me *sweats* Have mine past 6 months. Bearing in mind these are basically computer with occasional computer problem, no problem so far as far as hardware is concerned.

There is 1 thing that I still don't get it. For a supposedly smartphone, it does not have a stopwatch function. Even cheapo handphone has that.

I have Skype on my E52. It works fine except the person hearing me got truly poor sound quality with lots and lots of echo. On my receiving end, the sound is perfectly fine. I suspect it is due to the E52 microphone or something to do with the microphone's noise cancelling thing. Anyone got any idea and how to rectify this?
Thanks.
