Is PS3 or PC better for gaming and why?

PC is better for PC games and PS3 is better for PS3 games.

what type of game you like most

FPS and Racing

PC is a must then!

What kind of stupid question is this.

You spend 1k on the ps3. and probably another 1k on games.

U spend 2k on a computer, you can probably play most new games on slightly below medium.

this is a stupid comparison. Unless you are able to build a very powerful pc, the ps3 wins hand down on the price comparison.

unless u factor in a 40 inch wide screen full hd tv.

go multiplat

pc if u r tech enthusiast who likes to mod games n stuff.
console if u just wanna lay back n play

PC is an expensive gaming platform.

With the amount of money I spent on the PC, I could have easily bought a PS3, 47inch LCD TV and a decent sound system plus some original games.

use PC to make games

PS3 + 42' LCD HDTV = RM4k = mp games, internet, HD original games, BD movies, worldwide psn stores free HD game demos and HD videos. (keyword is HD).

Decent PC = RM4k = no HD experiences.

There is really no point is asking these kinds of loaded questions. There are too many variables and too much fandom involved between 2 groups of gamers that each have sunk in large amounts of their earnings into their respective gaming lifestyles.


Not to mention that most followers of one gaming camp do not have a clear idea what the other can do. This just would simply incite hateful word slinging.

ps. for the record, a mid range graphics card nowadays comes with HDMI and can do 1080p pretty decent. Mine does a mean impression of Assasin's Creed. most computer can do better, but are limited by the resolution of the TV, and the availability of input ports.
