since blizzard and sam raimi already decide the title name for the WOW movie..RISE OF THE LICH KING..is it a good title movie?how about the cast..all the info will update in here

That is just the placeholder title IMDB uses. Nothing has been announced yet.

Rise of the Lich King is the title of a book by the way. If the movie is going to use this title then it's probably going to be based on the book.

I seriously don't think this is going to be the final title, seeing how the movie is due 2012 and by that time all the Lich King hype should already have died down. (Unless Icecrown Citadel is merely a setback!)

If it was due 2012, we would already knew the whole storyline in WoW because we would surely downed Lich King already by that time + new expansion is coming out xD

100% agreed, even the idea of the lich king may had came from lotr. heck, he even looks like sauron. gnomes, elves. orcs, dwarfs are all featured in wow, copyright infringement =)

actually, lots of IP is 'nspired' by LoTR...

They should just let Japanese animators make an OVA of Warcraft, the results would be hilarious.

Hayao Miyazaki version: Dalaran is a wondrous floating city in which little girl Jaina gets inside by accident. A certain princess cameos as a worgen druid.

Shinichiro Watanabe version: Thrall, Grom and Sylvanas are wandering vagabonds/bounty hunters whose personalities and dark past foil each other.

Macross version: Goblins invented mechas, Sylvanas and Jaina are pop idols, Arthas has existential angst.

Rise of the Lich King is just a hook title I feel, like Rise of Cobra in the G.I.Joe. What rise of Cobra, the dude wore a new mask in the final few moments and promptly gets arrested right after that.

I can already imagine the end of the WoW film: after a mistaken conflict between Alliance and Horde, the film cuts to show (maybe even as an post-credits scene) Arthas' eyes snap open and snickering as he awoke from his slumber on the Frozen Throne.
