I'd like to remind you guys NOT to conduct any extreme leeching parties at Comic Fiesta. It would be inappropriate to bring 5-10tables(provided or not!) and set them up outside the venue for 20 or so people to have their own impromptu session as CF AND you would probably be questioned by the Sunway Convention Hall employees for use of unauthorized hall space and possibly for being an inconvenience to traffic flow and taking up valuable hall space which might or might not be needed.

If you want to conduct your own impromptu gathering which involves plenty of laptops and machines, take it off premises or somewhere outside of the convention hall.

I don't speak on behalf of CF but take note of what I've said. Don't cause trouble for anyone if unnecessary.

guest18>> Don't delude yourself by saying that CF likes /AS/. The IRCers/veterans still remember what you did with bunny-chan. When both sides have a lot more forumers that'll mix around between the two forums, then we'll see.

QUOTE(Brian O'Connor @ Dec 21 2009, 10:48 AM)
What I didnt like this year CF is their DJ.Some DJ suddenly played some SNSD(Girl Generation) song and suddenly there's a group of SNSD's fujoshis behind our booth got hype and starts dancing.Starting from there, the DJ starts playing all the techno songs which is unrelated to anime songs and make the hall looks like having a disco partay. What's funny is, the cosplayer participant also starts dancing on top of the stages(including the winner) and making their coplay looks horrible.Only at the last few minutes they changes back to anime song.

Day 2 is far more better than day one if not because of the DJ playing the SNSD song.I dun know who's the girl behind our booth who starts standing on her chair wearing a Santa's hat like a hot bt*ch and suddenly dancing when the DJ starts playing the SNSD song. She's the one who starts the hype.Go to SNSD convention lah if you want to make fuss of the girl generation hype. This is an anime convention la woi.

CF started off as a doujin convention. It's not an anime convention though most think so.

QUOTE(Captain Bright @ Dec 21 2009, 12:35 PM)
Oh yeah.Is it me,or do I feel that I miss the craziness we did last year over at the stage, and differentiating those with media passes and the commoners?

I didn't go in this year because my tag was borrowed (looks for daughter to get tag back, my badges are still there), but what kind of madness you were referring to and differentiating? I thought media passes have first right to take pics?

You weren't there at the time. Imagine suddenly having a sack of huge rocks being thrown on your back as everyone ignores the said barrier and rushes to the stage.

QUOTE(Captain Bright @ Dec 21 2009, 12:41 PM)
@Linkin

Remember last year close to the stage, when the CF staff began to place barriers 'round the stage and forced people not wearing press badges to move away(it happened roughly when the cosplay sessions began).

I still remember attempting to get close to either you or Setsuna to get pictures of the various Sheryls, without getting caught, till I did......

Some dude behind me kept asking me to bend lower so he can snap but i told him I couldn't because it was uncomfortable and that as a Media rep, I have priority in the photo-op and that he should wait patiently until we were done. He gave me a sour face. laugh.gif

I do hope that was not thee.

Police in the UK don't even carry weapons. All they have are batons and mace. Heck... the only police who carry guns are the Armed Response Teams.

Unlike our cops who seem to kill the baddies quite often.

Stormy>> You should be happy you're not freezing your ass off in the UK.
