IT with around 4 years experience can make RM12k per month ... MNC companies.. contract based.

Only 4 yrs exp and can make RM12k/month? This is rare..

When you said contract-based, does that mean it is not usually not a permanent job, has no benefits, (holidays, etc).

After i read through the forum , i found out most of the IT administrator job have been paid quite low . From my point of view, the outsource business is growing in Malaysia instead of india because of our langue proficiency ( chinese , BM, BI) . Therefore i do think that , we should ask for more higher salary on this occation. My company currently still looking for the experience worker , which is atlease one year exp in IT . The salary to get as high as RM 3000 . I am the only one which is underpaid because lack of information before applying . These are rare cases. Or plain lucky son of a gun. Consultant would be paid that high but consultants wouldn't have only 4yrs of exp.

fresh graduate ma .. no experience .. i have seen experience asst mgr achive 4k salary

only? hmm. i think there is too much asst manager and manager today, so that's y their salary bracket has been lowered. i expect asst manager to pocket at least rm5k a mth.

but i realised i cant generalise the whole workforce coz i know some ppl out there also have income more that 5k tho been working just a while.

gotta find resources how to generate more income.

ya...i think it depends on your luck also.. many ppl getting high paid job out there but many are paid low... what you can do is jump every two years, it will help...

i work 2 years and i just given RM200 increment for the new contract for 3rd year .

Is it justify?

My basic when i first join was 1800 then 2nd year given 100+ then now proceeding into 3rd year and 200

so it is like i got 2 years experience and my salary is RM2100 only ( this is not including allowances.. if together is around 2.9K

Ya la Salary say 2 - 3k but the living cost in KL is killing me
Might as well go back hometown work if get 1.5k oso can save at least 1k+ a month le cz stay free and food free
But too bad no job orpunity back at my hometown for my line of job...

Kind of a slow increament you got there. But allowance... nice...

increment slow? it's quite ok lo. since the increment ranges from 6% to 10%. but allowance is the icing of da cake.
