I am technical(mechanical) background and work in food manufacturer company (MNC) .. salary .. 5000+ .. but i have 6 years working exp...

asking u all 1 question about lab work... is it that there is no promote only if i take further studies? If i only have degree then i only can become lab assistant all my life?

What lab is it? Chemical? Quality?
I'm working in a company that has labs. One of their lab staff gotten a promotion last month. He also has only a degree. It all comes from hardwork....and how well you kiss your boss's arse (joking! )

Get into the oil/gas industry. Try to get offshore work. Within 5-7yrs or less if competent. You'll hit around RM20K -RM 35K.
That comes to what?....RM 240+ annualy?

Interesting. It seems that MNC or IT or Oil/Gas are the ones that pay more..

How about local doctors (physicians), lawyers, dentists, physical therapists or local universities professors or researchers? They don't make much?

The Oil & Gas industry is offering very high pay and followed by MNCs.

Other fields are not so familiar as I'm not from those background.

Well, not all MNC pays good money. Some too are 'kiam siap'. Not every cloud has a silver lining....no? heh heh.

Oil/gas companies in malaysia don't pay quite high compare to the companies overseas. Work here...get paid according to RM inflation rates. Other countries, get paid in USD.
