most contracts do get paid either money or having day offs ......

So what is the difference between these type of "contract" jobs as oppose to normal permanent positions if you get paid leaves, MC's, EPF, etc - everything similar smile.gif

Ya consider low when compare with ppl i know in other companies with same level job, but i get alot of flexibility and no long hours like other publishing company. Most ppl in publishing production line work till late very often and sometimes no weekend also. Got offer from another company last year for around 4k+ but that kind of publication stay late very often and no weekend sometimes too, so I didnt take. This company getting few big long term projects in next few months and training me to take over production manager of a few project together and offering 4k+ also, so see how lor.

Bro, you might want to clarify clearly what Accenture you are referring to. There are 2 sides to it, being in the consulting or workforce solution group. Furthermore, benefits and salary are quite apart for this 2 (search for previous posts). You might also would inform of how Accenture came about after Arthur Anderson split.

Read this with a pinch of salt. Not everything in wiki is true, but no harm reading. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accenture

Accenture workforce currently in heavy wave to find outsourcing people for thier account as they got a big account. And they have strict guidelines and rules to follow.

To be more clear - they pay fresh grads/starters pretty well compared to other companies (since most of the people here are fresh anyways) smile.gif I'm referring to the $$$ since this topic is about salary but whether is Accenture is a good place to work - no comments.

If we're talking about experienced IT professionals, many companies can pay well. If someone jumps from DHL to Shell, they'll say Shell is paying well. If someone jumps from Shell to DHL, they'll say DHL pays well. Hence, it is very subjective.
