happy with my salary but no happy with the company during year ead as they will talk no profit lah this year n try to no given the year end bonus. Some more didn't have benefit such like monthly car mantenance, petrol claim. Plan to find other job with 13 month salary company with better benefit as I am service engineer n we need to travel by OWN car some more.

My wife work as account exec in one such photography company...wah-lau...i heard her story also pity the photorgaphers, especially the assistant photogrphr.

Have to work day and night, no OT and treated like robots. Salary also very low, most around 1K+....I dun think this is a good industry....you can probably can get 1K plus almost anywhere instead of working like a dog....

Luckily, my wife dun have to work like that coz she's doing accounts there only.

My job right now while waiting for my dream job. Good thing to do right now rather than do nothing... rilex job, just will feel a bit dizzy to control student... good student no problem... when came to the trouble student... just get ready to increase you volume...hahahaha. For morning season 7.30~1.40... the go back home...sleep...hahahaha

want to ask u guys, which would be a better prospect between a system engineer and software engineer. my current office is damn boring. only 2 ppl inside. and now most of the time i deal with client or doing debugging. no more new development. getting boring with programming life.

i had another offer for system engineer. contract based. local company as well, but seems they are bigger company. salary 2k + allowance(400 if shift, 200 if standby, 100 per day if outstation, and OT as well). my current boss said i will get increment if i secure another project (in the mid of dealing with the client already). should i jump and do shift work, or just stay?

So this system engineer should be work more in hardware, am I right? This work is as service engineer or in factory? You may PM me to get more info on service engineer in system side as currently I am one of it

yeah more to system implementation. hardware installation, setting, maintain, troubleshoot and so on. currently they are on gov contract. for 2 years if not mistaken. after that, if the contract expired, i might have to find another job.

i am currently working in kuching. equipment engineer. monthly salary ~ RM3600 (plus OT). been working for bout a year. this is my first job. am i underpaid?

That is quite a lot considering that you have been working for only a year. How many hours OT do you have to work to earn that much?

well actually it all depends... normally without any public holidays, i'd would have to sweat out 50 hours for that ammount. but if there are one or two days of public hols within that month, then i will only have to put in like 30 hours. last month my salary ~RM4500

salary/benefits : RM 2.4k basic (just got increased after appraisal), oversea allowance around RM200++ per day (which can be quite often depending on nature of project), and company provides one mobile phone line.
