yeah, cause the "S" makes a lot of difference, plus, it's been known from the very start that iPhone 3G's (not iPhone 3GS) are available on the spot.

mine was activated immediately, the moment the sim was in the phone, i could call and text and use data.

my friend went there too, did the same procedure as you. but i think you should be fine lah. cause when i booked mine from Machines KLCC, i just had to fill in my information and pay RM200, and only signed the contract on the day of collection itself.
