Added on October 10, 2009, 10:37 amoo.. i am from the MEP.. that fella tell me mine will be reaching on 3 weeks time.. and at the contract we sign there... he wrote 3 weeks times... call them and confirm he say next week will get... but alot of people haven get it due to the dateline.. wonder should i really go for it or wait it till 30 days.

looks like everyone gonna get their iphone soon if there is a new batch coming..

1) for those who hav gotten their iphone, what do we hav to notice when we go get our iphone at the MEP / maxis center / Apple center?

2) how to examine whether it is a new iphone?

3) any serial code to look at? or any defect to check at?

4) anything hav to be careful at or during the connect to the itunes at the MEP / maxis center / Apple center?

5) lastly the guarantee card, what should be noticed and should be careful about?

Hope every member who got their iphone or who knows what should be noticed can comment on this post.. thx alot.

that have been shared or answered before...

ppl always tend to be lazy if they can....forgive them...

just sharing information..

Today i received sms from maxis tellin that my phone is ready for pick up. The truth is that I already picked my phone last 2 weeks. So I believe that the new stock is already arrived...
So for those who is still waiting, better head on to maxis to ask for yours, In this case in KLCC there is one iphone extra allocated for me but now is not allocated to anyone since I got mine already...

This means that their system are not updated on time.....

haih... yesterday they called me up explaining some maxis centre overstock..so they gv it out to new pre-booking people ppl.. i tell them is so unfair as some still waiting... service is so damn poor

ah! finally got my iphone 3gs yesterday...
location : sunway pyramid maxis center
booking : 4th sept with rm200, collection 9th oct
package : iphone 3gs 16gb white, non contract + RM500 rebate invitation
i still paid in full rm2490, the rm200+500 will deduct from phone bill,..zzz
i only make 1 complaint call to maxis on 8th oct, next day sunway maxis call me up said tat my baby is ready to pick up.
heres some prob while collection
i manage to reach around 5pm take a number n wait, bring with me the rm500 invitation card + the booking receipt. wait for ard 1/2 hr my turn.
i saw the staff tat serve me take out a white paper bag wit my baby on it. i feel so happy, but all it end after the staff took my receipt + invitation card into their office then come out tell me indian story.
they said my rm200 booking receipt is for new line registration according to theif so called computer database, n then somemore told me the invitation card can only valid if i took their ivalue plan. AIYO!
they think i m 3 yr old boy,...wat the @#$%!. i read out the words from the receipt it stated rm200 paid being deposit for iphone 3gs 16gb white!
n the invitation card stated it is ok to purchase wit non contract. i think is bcos they wan to encourage all iphone set sell wit contract. but the tactic they use is not professional at all. after i argue wit the girl. she again take my doc go into office. then 5 min later came out confirm my phone can purchase wit non contract n tell other bullshit i dun wan to hear. after i make the payment i straight away go back without unseal my iphone.

i am not very sure about that too.. as she mentioned some maxis centre.. haha.. perhaps before all those threads that ppl pre-book on oct and already get.. those maxis centre branch or MEP..

Nobody is picking up the phone at orange mobile ampang. damm

Would want to ask if they have any models any colors I would just take it as long as i can get the phone fast .. wonder is it possible ...

i also called orange mobile ampang to check my booking status at 1pm, nobody pick up as well

how long is your booking ?? prepaid plan ?

actually i booked not long ago, 29/9. this monday will reach 2 weeks. since a few forumers got it between 2-3 weeks, and i flying off for vacation this wednesday, so just to try my luck to check with orange, if able to bring it along for vacation to use the wifi

Hahaha .. i booked mine on 26/9... yeah was thinking of trying out my luck also

thought they work on saturday as well, but nobody pick up the phone, and the sales person's line also off. hafta wait til monday only contact again
