Perhaps Maxis wanted all consumer to sign up via contract.

Besides we must understand the whole world is depending on China for manufacture iPhone. I wonder how many units can be produce in China in a day sweat.gif

Of course maxis centre is faster.

iPhone ordered from maxis centre > Singapore release stock > maxis HQ > maxis centre > mep.
