Booked my 16gb black on 14 dec at maxis apple premium reseller Kuching,sarawak..Still waiting for call..Anyone can tell me how many days do i need to wait?

I thought just register when you've got the iphone only? Now still need to pay for deposit?

I have no idea how to use the 32gb..too much space for me besides..the maxis centre in melaka said that they didn't had any ready stock with them. So have to wait in both case

I paid the deposit of Rm200 and some other charges as i had to get my phone line out of the supplementary line which i'm currently on right now..Registration will be done when i obtain the iPhone..sorry for the confusion caused

Maxis HAS 16gs White, 16gs black you will have to wait though.

i went to check with maxis center ttdi..

they 32gb immediately have stock...16gb have 2 wait 2-4 weeks..

but one thing they told me the new refreshed iphone 16 and 32gb its data locked! means cant do data connection with other simcard..but for voice and sms its possible..
i asked the other staff at that centre they told me the same thing...is this true ?!!can someone confirm?

they mentioned cant change the apn for data..

what does mean by data lock?

It means u cant do any data usage like mms or surfing internet..im not sure if its correct or not..need ppl to confirm but that is what the ttdi maxis centre mentioned..

there is no data lock, you can just jailbreak and change any settings.

just got back from maxis centre klcc...
they mentioned no such thing...

i tested it out in their old stock 3gs..it works fine can change any apn for data..under setting->general->network->cellular data->apn

however i requested to try on their new refreshed 32gb stocks they said cant try unless purchased first..

but the iphone staffs there said its fully unlock just like the old stock 32gb...which contradicts with what the ttdi guys said...

now i am really confused..

however i have booked a 16gb 3gs...they said max 45days but this time around should be 2-4 weeks...no deposit required..
if want 32gb can get on the spot..

so can anyone confirmed the new refreshed stock for 16 or 32gb is it fully unlock like previous stock??

but the ttdi guys are saying its data lock...however i cant test it on the new stocks..

any one can confirm plz??

i booked mine on the same day too. so anxious to get my set. black tho.. kinda regret. i want white now..

then rely need to ask for the new people to get the phone lo.. if lock data then i think iphone will less demand then before.. bcoz people sign up maxis more on iphone i think.. hehe

may i know where u booked?

did that guy mention anything about data lock?

after waiting 28days, finally got my 3gs.

i wonder is it possible to change colour after you've book. i regret..

just got my 32gb igs today. actually booked 16gb one at garden early on, as cannot wait for the stock arrival...so go to selayang for faster stock. after talk to the iphone salesgal there, find out actually can buy one...straight away buy.... now hve to cancel the 16gb stock.

im sure u can..
else just cancel the other one and make a fresh order..no problem actually..
