Yeah, it's 2 months and a week already. Haha. The store manager was very nice about it. He went out all the way to locate a phone for me. He actually called me to ask if I want a 32GB from Midvalley Machines first, but later he called again saying that he had found a 16GB for me. So that's how my story went.

Guess maxis is having their stock on hand now. Seems like everyone is on the track of getting their phone. For those who booked recently and get their phone in few days time, really congratz!

i booked my iphone on 23/09/09 from maxis klcc and haven't received any sms/call from them that's not fair

Never received any calls yet. Called them earlier today. The CS will open a report for me and check. Will get back to me ASAP. I'll give them time. Until Oct 11th that is. Hehe.

im gonna place my booking this sat. any shop recomanded to get around subang / sunway area or somewhere near by to get it faster??

A word of advice; please avoid registering for your iPhone from Sunway Maxis Center. I booked mine on 7th September, went there to collect mine when my 30 days are up, only to be notified that there was an extra delay of 15 days, no phone calls, no email, nothing. Wasted my parking and time to go there. Staffs were quite unfriendly. Please get it from elsewhere if you want shorter waiting period, such as from Orange @ Ampang or Digital Mall (where someone manage to get one unit within a week's waiting period only).

I've noticed that you guys were/are asking people regarding on which product, does it make any difference to book 16Gb and 32Gb?

So far, from what I've read, 16Gb will experience delays in getting them. What about 32Gb?

i logged a complaint via maxis website. the customer service called me and i asked about my iphone status. i booked my 3gs 16gb white with ttdi maxis centre. she looked at my booking date and asked me to go over and collect the phone. but she couldnt answer me that there is available stock or not.

btw, anyone have ttdi maxis centre contact no? i was told that there is no number to call....

Most people tend to go for 16GB ones because it's the cheapest version of 3GS and most users think that they wouldn't be able to utilize the additional 16GB in the 32GB version.

Since demand for 32GB version tends to be lower than 16B version, so the waiting period for 32GB version would tend to be lower or shorter.

Booked mine at TTDI too on Sept 12. Picked it up yesterday. Just drop by and hopefully they have a unit waiting for you. "Hopefully", because the guy said some people who are eligible to collect their phones still have not showed up (my heart said "sure la, you all never call ma..."), and if people from later batches show up, they might release the phones to these people first. Yeah, perfect story of left hand dunno what right hand is doing. >.<!!!

I asked for the outlet's number too and was told the same thing.

EDIT: Sept 16 changed to Sept 12.
