Hi, I plan to get a house near SS15 colleges as an investment. My main aim is to rent it out to the students who are studying nearby. I've been looking through the paper but i hardly see any houses for sale in SS15. I'm sure there are houses for sale but i do not know the exact price. I estimate Rm250k -Rm400k for small to medium sized houses. Renting a house would cost Rm1200 perhaps? Is it a wise choice to buy the house and let the rent pay for the installment monthly? Pls advise. Thank you. This post has been edited by silverwave: Oct 4 2009, 02:51 PM

As an former college student from the SS15 area, I would say ----> GO AHEAD....its a gem of a place to buy an property in terms of investement especially if you can get the units as close as apossible to Taylors, Inti or Metropolitan College. You can be guaranteed to have an steady flow of rental demands....Try speaking to college's accomodation unit, you may strike a deal with college to be registered as an fixed accomodation provider. The college will promote your uit as an option for outstation/overses students to stay during their enrollment.....
