Depending on usage. Personally I like liquid roll on as it is more convenient to carry around compared to deo spray and also offers better coverage of the armpit area. Besides that, it doesn't break off easily as certain solid deo sticks.

I think roll-on and stick deo lasts longer than spray on. But I've been using Speed Stick Gel deo for quite sometime now, can pretty much last from morning until evening.

My preference is stick type antiperspirants. I'm currently using Lab Series Antiperspirant Deodorant Stick. It's unscented so it does not interfere with any cologne i'm wearing and doesn't stain my clothes. Downside is the price...75ml costs me RM75.

I switched from roll on to spray after my roll on gave off a pungent odor after 6 months of usage (used Nivea deodorant). I'm pretty sure there's no expiry date for the roll on ( correct me if I'm wrong ).

I think 24 months after first time of use is the appropriate period. There is a indication on the packaging sometimes. But how long it can last depends on how you store it too. |

QUOTE(shirley_andy @ Dec 2 2009, 04:31 AM) Armpit Cancer??? LOL u have highlighted the mistake in his statement. Wow.. 1st time I hear... How is roll different from Spray and stick that it can cause armpot cancer?? its the same ingredient.. Actually I have heard about the relation between antiperspirants and cancer so I went about to do some quick research online. Read through these articles if u have the time, http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/Risk/AP-Deo http://urbanlegends.about.com/cs/healthmed...perspirants.htm http://www.antiperspirantsinfo.com/usenglish/index.php There are many more articles that dismiss the claims that antiperspirants cause cancer. The cancer in this case was breast cancer and that women who shave their armpits and apply antiperspirants after that had a risk of developing breast cancer as the so called chemicals got absorbed into the body. I have no fears about using antiperspirants. Antiperspirants are my friends This post has been edited by jonny4: Dec 2 2009, 05:40 PM |

QUOTE(danny_70s @ Dec 23 2009, 04:11 PM) Depends on whether its a body spray, deodorant spray or antiperspirant deodorant spray. No probs with using a body spray all over the body. But i'm hesitant with using deodorant sprays on other parts of the body. Antiperspirant sprays are a definite no-no to use on other parts of the body. I guess best way is to read the product labels before using. |

Priced at RM75 it may be considered too much by most to spend on a deodorant stick but I have been using for 6 months now and it works and gives me at least 12 hours of protection. QUOTE(1zR4eL @ Jan 11 2010, 12:35 PM) I don't use mine everyday as I have a few cologne matching deodorant sticks. I also use a small amount when I apply Lab Series. I think if u use it everyday, it should last u 4-6 months depending on how much u use. It's fragrance free but it still has a slight scent because of the tea tree oil used as an active ingredient. But no worries as the scent will not permeate and will go undetected, unless someone puts his/her nose directly on your armpits LOL. |

QUOTE(RaptoR @ Jan 11 2010, 09:57 PM) U can get it at any Lab Series counter. Almost all department stores have a Lab Series counter. I forgot to mention, to anyone interested in the Lab Series Antiperspirant stick...it flakes a little sometimes (if u apply a lot) and gets onto your clothes when u take the t shirt off. But through experience, these white stains on clothes wash out quite easily with no damage to the item of clothing. |

Lab Series doesn't have roll on only in stick form.
The stick retails for RM75 at the counters but I think u can get it 5%-10% cheaper at FORHIM William Martins. But u need to become a member which costs RM12 for 2 years. I am a member but my Lab Series stick was not bought there...I got it from counter. |

QUOTE(chipnuke @ Feb 18 2010, 01:12 PM) Hurmmm came across here and..want to ask bout mens deodorant... I'm currently using Lab Series for Men Antiperspirant Deodorant Stick. It's unscented so it won't interfere with the cologne i have on. Retails for RM75 for 75ml. It's very pricey but effective and better than the cheaper pharmacy brands I have used. It does flake off and leaves white marks on dark clothing but washes off very easily and does not leave a stain.which brand do you use?..and is that good? plan to change to other brand coz currently im using leave white ring on my shirt dang! |
