Correction.. The aircraft tailplane photo that you're refering to is not called Galaxy..

It's the C-17 Globemaster III.. Galaxy is a much older transporter, full designation name is C-5 Galaxy.. The USAF Thunderbirds team uses the C-17 Globemaster as logistics transport, not the C-5 Galaxy..

i was confused with the Galaxy & Globemaster too
coz many books & articles messed up the names too, lol
i went for the name "Galaxy" coz thats what an article online about the airshow says
shud have googled it instead, silly me
anyway, both planes do look highly similar right?
