QUOTE(General_Nic @ Oct 3 2009, 05:00 PM) no pictures of planes on the ground? Correction.. The aircraft tailplane photo that you're refering to is not called Galaxy..i want to c pics of the C-17 Galaxy... i think thats the Galaxy's tail rudder in this pic It's the C-17 Globemaster III.. Galaxy is a much older transporter, full designation name is C-5 Galaxy.. The USAF Thunderbirds team uses the C-17 Globemaster as logistics transport, not the C-5 Galaxy.. Please refer to the following resources.. Source of C-17 Globemaster III: http://www.boeing.com/defense-space/military/c17/index.htm Source of C-5 Galaxy: http://www.lockheedmartin.com/products/c5/index.html# |
