I bought the Kingston Elite Pro 16 GB 133x CF card for my Sony A200 DSLR camera. I formatted the card in the camera and the camera reads the full 16GB. But when I transfer pictures to my PCs via the USB cable, the computer does not recognize the card and you are prompted to format the card. If you proceed with formatting, you lose all pictures in the card and you only get 8GB. I have PCs with Win XP, Win Vista and Mac which are less than a year’s old. Using CF card reader does not make a difference. I called Kingston and was told that it is only supported by PCs less than a year old. I have returned this product and bought the Kingston Elite Pro 8GB 133x CF card. It works faultlessly.

Briefly, it is a superb camera, and a very solid replacement for the A350. Control-wise it is very much a Live-View-centric camera. It feels very different. I practically did not use the optical viewfinder at all due to the superb LCD gainup in sunlight.

I just took out out my A100 to play play while charging my A700 battery just now... & suddenly i feel so weird to hold my A100 again..especially d front scroll...it feel.. small n hard to scroll.. Must use it once a while if not scare later donno how to use it anymore...
I got a question... When i look into my A100 viewfinder...I saw a few blackdots in it... when i move my eye away a bit from d viewfinder i can see a line (like smkind of stain) on the viewfinder..

it is not dust on the sensor as it doesnt appear on my photo... Check d mirror n it look clean too... Clean the outer glass of the viewfinder oso is clean.. Not sure wat was it & where is the stain stick to... Could it be Fungus growing inside the camera?

lol. the thing is... i wouldnt know how to clean it... so, um.. how much if i send for cleaning or servicing in sony centre? and would take how long?
