eh ur name is not in the list... haha... mine to tell us???
C drive comfort... if you wan to have better performance then try Hankook V12... comfort but performance... but the noise is a bit higher coz it is directional thread... smile.gif

17" will not scrap ur fenders if you buy the proper offset rims... and also if your suspension is too soft then try to put performance spring and absorber it will do the trick... smile.gif

is ok... but when??? lets make a date??? er... 31s Oct??? time???
*
The C Drive quite for me, the noise level of 55 & 50 seems negligible.

oh, mine 05 E spec.
Still stock except for rims & head unit.
mileage 63k
Full city drive consistently 450km/tank. dunno why so little compare to others unsure.gif

Oh ya, i got screwed by Toyota SC regarding brakes. So now i'm so pissed that i won't go any Toyota SC regarding anything at all.
BTW their a/c service is crap, u can get same service for half the price from a/c specialist. They also call up outsiders to service your a/c so it doesn't make any difference. I know cos I follow their service manual till 40k even though warranty is 30k or 3 yrs. So the advice is get your ride service done outside after the warranty period, no point paying more for something that can be done for much less.

warranty is 100k or 3 yrs la...
A/C service did not give it to them at all... but y u screw them on the brakes? what have they done?
i found out 1 thing when my fren enlighten me... check ur tires b4 and after... all the stones stuck in between the thread had been removed... wow... i checked and yes my Vios tires are pretty clean of stones... but make sure make a complaint on SC when they are not doing a good job la... smile.gif
*
My mistake , its 100k or 3 yrs blush.gif
I meant to say i serviced there at 40k when its over 3 yrs which means no more warranty.
The a/c i just followed the manual to serviced it last time, now no more, all service outside. I've been to 2 SC ie Segambut (notorious for its incompetence) & Kepong (considered new since its less than 3 yrs i think), both also manned by idiots. They don't even know their products well & wanna bluff customers shakehead.gif Complaint till Toyota Japan also no use, cos SC is under UMW. I've read in TVCM forum that most complaint directly to SC manager or UMW/Toyota, most of the complaints went straight to dustbin. (That's few years ago since i've never logged since)
Anyway, my story is too long, its regarding skimming of brakes, suffice to say that they screwed up the works & want me to re-pay & re-skimmed. I was like WTF. mad.gif

Just kidding earlier on. tongue.gif

I thinking of removing the spare tyre to save some weight so perhaps will gain extra mileage. U think its worth it?
*
Don't think there'll be any significant difference. Worst u may end up puncture in the middle of nowhere...WITHOUT spare tyre doh.gif

*
Of cos he's a vios owner la, he's the thread starter tongue.gif
U accidently push the O/D button is it? The button is on gear knob, the smaller one.
Normal condition, the O/D should not flash. It over drive if i'm not mistaken.

You pump 97 or 95 ? My sis's Vois each full tank can run 380KM until the alert light up with 100% city drive + 20% stuck in traffic, pumped Shell 97.
*
Last time 97, can run till 450km until light up in 100% city + jam condition.
Somehow, is it just me or the 95 is not fuel efficient. For the last couple of times, cant even get 400km. Initially can get to 450km without any problem. Same driving condition & variables.

Don go to the service centre in Kepong. The service sux ballz. firstly they changed the wrong engine oil, they gave me the normal oil when i requested for fully synthetic. Next they said the can't align my wheels coz the camber's broken and need replacement. I went and inspect it outside they say its fine and can align my wheels like normal.

Anyway what wiper do you guys used. I recently changed the wiper outside and to my horror the original wiper from toyota cost almost 100 bucks per pair. anyone had similar experience?
*
Yeah, their service really sucks. i did wrote my experience few page back la. Lazy wanna re write

QUOTE(barrylin @ Dec 2 2009, 11:06 AM)
I have a S Spec 07. But i want to know for a full tank how much mileage can you guys reach.
*

thanks a lot for your clarification. btw, when do we need to change the v belt? any symptom that shows that v belt gonna kong?
*
There's a sign of cracking on the belt & some screeching sound in the morning or when u accelerate.
It cost less than RM100 in normal workshop. If not mistaken there's 2 similar belts.

condition: after 2nd free service

1. can go outside doing service? all warranty void?
2. if go back SC service, but not follow schedule, eg: 10k service once instead of 5k. Warranty void oso?

what i thinking is skip some SC service but do the major service in SC. or you guy just no going back SC anymore unless have something to claim?
*
1. As far as I know, it wont void all, but if ever there's a claim on parts, they'll have a ready made excuses to say its faulty due to service outside.
2. Thought according to their handbook, only required 10k service after 1st 3 services?

Another problem is the belting problem only on cold start (no such noise on warm start), irritating squeaking noise. Complain to the same SC, and fixed already.

Last problem, is the absorber sound, where randomly, sometimes has low 'grok' sound when going over humps. I've tried going humps with low or high speed (and many different ways), and the result is intermittent (this is just to prove I'm not going to humps too fast or it is a faulty absorber). Complaint to the SC on my last service, they did something to it (tighten bolts & nuts) but still occurring. I stay at a place with lots of humps and up & down hill. So someday it is just silent & normal, other times it just keep happening.
*
what the SC do to the the belt sound on cold start? I went to my mechanic, they applied some kind of grease/lube then no sound but it'll return after some time.
Went to another, he said that old belt will have those sound due to some cracks on the belt. Change it but after 8 mths the sound came back doh.gif Is the lifespan of those belt so short?

the absorber sound i experienced is same sound and also occur when going thru hump & intermittently only BUT only when raining that the sound exist. Try to find whats the cos, but seems difficult to find out when it just occur intermittently.
