Hey Vios users, just got my Vios last week and I notice some weird experience, not sure is it a manufacturing fault.

1. There is one incident where I press accelerator between 0-1cm, but the car totally did not react. After pressing about 2cm, then it suddenly accelerates.

2. My FM radio receiver having some problem, when listening to radio music, I get this loud soft loud soft effect. Although it is not the same when I use CD mode. I am thinking is the radio player problem.

3. Notice that the car is making a lot of squeaking when braking.

Having to drive the previous generation VIOS, I do not notice all these problems. Please share your experience.

2. It happens to most of the frequency. As long the station plays music, can hear it. Haven't got this fixed yet because need to go Mon, Wed, Fri only can do radio.

3. I told them during first service, they say is sound of disc brake.

I read here that the short distance for the car remote seems to be normal. Anyone knows why it is like this?

Almost 2 and a half months ago I reported about my radio problem, today it is not fixed yet. Toyota Service Section 19 has been sending me round the bush.

Anyway I have a question to ask fellow Vios users.

Cobra Auto (M) Sdn Bhd - (118-120, Jalan Burhanuddin Helmi, TTDI, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan - 03-7729-7540) was suppose to fix my problem. But they diagnose my radio has something called "Multi-Buff" problem which is causing some noise and hissing sound to my FM radio. They claim is common among all Vios cars having the same radio model. Anyone heard of such problems?

And they have not fixed the loud soft loud soft effect after 3 person diagnosed it. They plan to refer this issue to someone else. Face palm
