vios 2gen g spec
14km/liter for 70% highway 30% city. 12-13km/liter for 50% highway 50% city. the lastest bhp 97 petrol very good, u can feel the car start moving very easily even thought u press the fuel pedal lightly and the rpm rev smoothly. petronas primax3 u need to press the fuel pedal slightly more to move the car from standstill but the rpm rev smoothly in all rpm hence consume more fuel. shell ron 97 will give slightly more kms, and the car start moving very easily when u press the fuel pedal lightly but the engine rev slower from 2k-4k rpm and not so smooth if u accelerate. less fun to drive. the best will be shell v-power. the engine rev very very smooth in all rpm. but u have to pay more $$$. |

QUOTE(travis_ckf @ Oct 14 2009, 01:36 PM) Actually I'm not that impressed on that FC figure - 65km per bar (avg) is kind of in the common low side for FC (city drive mostly). However I guess your road condition has hills & bumps?I've tried 115km for the 1st bar to dropped, from Zoo to KLIA under smooth traffic (with the usual Tesco Ampang jam stretch). Recent trial of Shell/95 got me 55km per bar avg - ditched Shell and now trying Petronas/95 (getting 65km per bar avg). |

QUOTE(dstl1128 @ Oct 16 2009, 08:15 AM) Actually I'm not that impressed on that FC figure - 65km per bar (avg) is kind of in the common low side for FC (city drive mostly). However I guess your road condition has hills & bumps? The reason why i felt its impressive bcoz i compared with the myvi which has almost the similiar fuel bar system. But the ones on myvi dropped more faster even when u drive slowly, sometimes depending if u did alot of short distance or stop n start around.I've tried 115km for the 1st bar to dropped, from Zoo to KLIA under smooth traffic (with the usual Tesco Ampang jam stretch). Recent trial of Shell/95 got me 55km per bar avg - ditched Shell and now trying Petronas/95 (getting 65km per bar avg). Right now 375km logged on this tank and i left 3 bars. Back on my old myvi usually i will left 2 bars and by 10-20 km if i traveled well it will blink the last bar. |

my vios can travel around 440km with 2 bars left. so i believe a full tank is somewhere around 530km which around 66km per bar or 11.7km/liter
i wonder why some owner can reached 600km for full tank?? |

QUOTE(McRyan @ Oct 18 2009, 10:21 AM) I believe the next facelift should be by 2010.QUOTE(tesla_rage @ Oct 18 2009, 12:53 PM) Welcome Just filled out my 2nd tank and ended up 12.8km/l instead of 14km/l average as shown on multimeter. Still okay considered i still left 500km before my official 1st service. Previous tank was shell ron 95 so called fuel save which is crap. I now trying caltex RON 95 and so far i found it to be good. Let me see after 2-3 more tanks of caltex ron 95. |
