how can we improve vios handling become like lotus handling?
sell your vios and buy proton saga, then u can get lotus handling biggrin.gif kidding

Not getting much response from the tires discussion topic so decided to post it in here and see if any of you Vios owners can help.

If I were to choose between Continental ContiComfortContact CC5 and Michelin XM1 for 175/65/R14, which would be a better buy?

What will be the major difference between both tires (e.g. compound, price etc.)?
i never try both but according to the salesperson, CC5 is perform excellent in NVH. not sure since im never experience b4. smile.gif

I know it isnt fair to ask here, but i need more input in order to join this club smile.gif, my question is, is it worth to get a 2nd hand vios(year 03-04) over a totally new Saga BLM? vios is around 7k more expensive and it is 2nd hand. maintenance wise? problematic? and FC(as a used car)? those still driving the first gen vios plz give some input  notworthy.gif  thnx thnx  notworthy.gif
im driving a 2003 vios. for a 7 years old cars u need to check all the wear and tear parts like engine mounting, absorber, brake pad, air filter, drive shaft etc....
i changed all of these part and it works like a new car.

Pros to buy 2nd hand vios
better pickup power, since vios is light and 1.5l engine
better FC even its 7 years old comparing a new saga
better ICE system
an excellent resell value. u wont rugi much if u want to sell it again.

cons to buy 2nd hand vios
cramp space at rear, saga is more spacious than old vios sweat.gif
better handling on saga, its not kidding. maybe its just my feeling.
need to change all the wear and tear part since its already 7 years old

But today i encounter a problem, dunno is battery problems or the alternator problems, where when the car front lights in turn-on, the fuel/mileage light indicator meter becomes dimmer, it is normal? or somethings going wrong?

Hi guys,

Few days ago, I accidentally put gear from N to R when almost stop at traffic light and I heard sound from gearbox (it sound like RRRRNNGH).
Normally in long wait at traffic light i put on N. Is this affecting the gearbox in long term? tongue.gif

Btw, I is trd owner for 1 year already.  biggrin.gif
i keep shifting between D and N for 4 years, nothings wrong or maybe im lucky.
