guys my n97mini quality not so good haih...first burble now the screen border got sticky stuff comin out... can depress untill scren sunk but manage to fix it somewhat using china man style lol...still work normally just sian all this quality issue...hope n8 quality WILL BE much better...

any of you guys not happy about the n97mini build quality I for 1 not 2 happy...even after all this problem I still like the n97mini for its cheapness lol...I'm definitely a nokia fanboy...

if u read the last few pages,i believe u would have get the answer...
the only different between the 2 is the lens cover n battery oso internal memory otherwise all the spec is the same... wat so different about them to make n97 more superior to the mini,i dunno... but from wat i find out,n97 much easier to hang especially when browsing internet... so it is up to u who u believe...

the fm transmitter, larger screen and higher internal memory will be advantages for n97...

but n97 mini got more nand memory....

for me,both the screen size almost the same even n97 support to b bigger... n smaller phone is much easy to handle for me i would say...

n97 n n97mini btry life is almost the same.
n97=1500mah batry-large screen
n97mini=1200mah-smaller screen

my mini got some noise from the screen like "eeeeeeeeeee",
does tis mean my mini got problem?

low end nokia models are great...its their high end model that disappoint...for example their recent x6 got dust problem where dust can go inside...n97 got the famous lens scratch prob...

its not only nokia sony ericson I heard also suck in build quality...
1 thing make me stay on with nokia because after losing hard to competitor they are finally waking up...starting with the n8
I manage to fix my n97 mini with some wd-40 and some chinaman style work.. gonna use it till n8 arrive...if thing don't get better with n8 I got no choice but to jump ship...hope nokia really kick some ass starting with n8...

no doubt, recently nokia is like always a step behind its main rivals...

when everyone is coming out with their 1st touchscreen, nokia still consider n95 as their flagship product...

when everyone is already having lots of touchscreen, nokia came out with 5800xm......

when everyone is having a lot of better features like amoled screen and more advance camera feature, nokia just starting to adopt....

and finally when everyone is using android, nokia only scratching their heads and try to come out with maemo and symbian^3 to compete......

but anyway, i still love nokia, simply because of its build quality and the status of holding a nokia in hand, haha!!

omg, now seems like every owners of n97 mini got their own different problems     

Infact the N97 flaw was the lense cover, there were many reported cases of scratch lens, hence on the mini, they had removed it.

whats the price for ori set?

only apply to N97 (1st batch production), not other models.....

in the case of N97 mini, nokia eliminate the cover just to reduce the cost, so that the mini will remain 'mini' and sell in its own category, not competing directly with their flagship N97 or N900...

me myself got more software problems than hardware 

so guys and sifu here, can anyone tell me why my video cannot play via real player?

i have smart movie and core player too...

i just dont understand why the built-in real player wont work...... 

n97mini is down by n97 even in their storage wise

my dad's n97 mini and my e66 has this problem too. i searched about it and apparently it is caused by the screen itself.
anyway, going to nokia to fix this.

something like: "Cannot play the video, trying to play partially"

after the msg pop out, there is no video, but i can heard audio only......

really headache about this matter...

i record using the phone itself, cannot play...

i transfer video from pc, cannot play......

my fren send me video via bluetooth, cannot play.........

i tried all resolutions of 3gp and mp4, all also cannot play....................

lol...

ok, already went the symbiantalk and nokia discussion page, tried everything they said......

uninstalled core player and smartmovie, then go to C: drive and did what they said....

and finally reset factory settings....

still hopeless.............................................

still no video, but got audio......
