heyy guys. right now im using n97 mini which is running on v10 firmware. my issue is pertaing the video recording features. im not sure whether is it just me or its really having problem.

- i notice that whenever i record a video, and when playing it, i hear that the background sound of it initially sounds bit loud, and after that it'll turn slower. at some point the background sound will turn louder again. and i notice that its producing some kind of 'hissing' sound throughout the video. is this normal for n97 mini or im having a firmware/hardware issue here?

- the light time out functions sometime doesnt work as it should be. and i suspect it has something to do with the camera/video rec application also, because when it works fine, and i open the camera/video rec application, then close it, light time out will malfunction. and i have to open the application again to make light time out working normally.

aiyoo.. never record video using your mini? try la bro, its quality is quite good.. but yeah, i need someone here who use mini to clarify the problem.. and light time out not functioning well kinda irritates me..

its the backlight laa. which can be set to automatically turn off after certain seconds. mine sometimes works, sometimes doesnt

yeah laa.. mine also cant update.. over the air and via nsu, both said mine is updated. can i update the phone with nokia care centre? i hope v11 fix the backlight bug..

how much eh for an update? damnit, im living in sban and the nearest ncc in negri sembilan is in pd.. what the heck.. they dont have ncc in sban town, all they have is just retail store..

Added on April 26, 2010, 12:14 pmjust updated my phone yesterday.. i changed my product code and managed to update hehe.. so far i dont notice any improvement or anything cool addition into my phone.. its just that nokia gives that vlingo apps, my font style changes a bit, and those long-name folder or apps have been shortformed.. such as before this application manager will be spelled full, but now only got application mgr.

fyi, before this my fw is one with arabic language, but now its no longer arabic, its malay, indonesian, english, and mandarin haha..

and the backlight bug is still there.. well i think i just have to make peace with it, or.. should i send it to any shop to get it fixed?

recently my mini seems slow to lock gps signal, before this everything was fine, it used to be less than a minute to lock, but now, it needs more than 10 minutes to lock. whats going on?? damnit..
