so gonna trade my phone wif n97.. not n97 mini.. haha.. anyway no doubt it stil a good phone

my dad's n97 mini and my e66 has this problem too. i searched about it and apparently it is caused by the screen itself.
anyway, going to nokia to fix this.

I had a very bad experience with Nokia Care, they need 1 month to fix my device for a small speaker problem....

crap, i don't have a spare phone...
gotta live with it. doesn't harm me

Normally if software problem it will take less than a day to repair, just send there and let them have a look first....

something like: "Cannot play the video, trying to play partially"

after the msg pop out, there is no video, but i can heard audio only......

really headache about this matter...

Bro your video is what format? Why must use real player to watch it?

i record using the phone itself, cannot play...

i transfer video from pc, cannot play......

my fren send me video via bluetooth, cannot play.........

i tried all resolutions of 3gp and mp4, all also cannot play....................

ok, already went the symbiantalk and nokia discussion page, tried everything they said......

uninstalled core player and smartmovie, then go to C: drive and did what they said....

and finally reset factory settings....

still hopeless.............................................

still no video, but got audio......

hmm,my n97mini have a problem... sometime when i receive a sms,the screen just gone black... it happen after i unlock the key... the screen basically is black but the phone still functioning as can make phone call n receive call oso... so far,the only way for me to get back the screen to work would b take out the battery... does any1 have the same problem as me? just now was the 3rd time this problem occur... it does not occur very frequently... could b due to i does not restart the phone?

My friend has similar problem before, may I know what is you firmware version?

have you try a hard reset...do note this will erase the phone memory so remember to backup....I found that only the build in real player can play smoothly...smartplayer video lag... here's a sample of video that is converted...the video took hours of experimenting b4 I can make it play smoothly on n97 mini...try it if you want... 64mb...

convert to MP4 format and use built-in real player to play. the resolution and sound is nice.
