I steeled my nerves and called their customer service line to check if there were any notifications.. there was an automated message which I could not quite understand.

Users may experience slow browsing due to the "intake of slow configure worms" or soooomething like that.. I couldn't quite understand what the recorded message said.

Can anyone explain?

it's 'conficker worm', not 'configure worms'...

and you should know that some server in TMNut are being reformatted, when you hear that being announced due to heavy torrents running there without any security precaution which eventually infected their servers

Everytime I think they are as stupid as humanly possible, they surprise me. You hear some of those customer service horror stories you think they will be hall of fame nominees every year.
