Long story short, from the author of Maburaho, comes Kämpfer (Kenpufer, けんぷファー ). So yeah, a so-called normal high school boy, Senou Natsuru find himself turning into a girl one day, he need to fights off another 'Kämpfer'. Think he's forever a girl being? Nope, since he only turns into a girl when he turn into Kämpfer. Kämpfer means 'fighter' in German by the way.

Despite the title and the storyline, the cast behind it is quiet... err.... legendary? With Inoue Marina, Mizuki Nana, Horie Yui, and Nakajima Megumi on the line, this could be one of the Fall 2009's good series. Airing on October 1st 2009.

+ SHOUT OUTS! I love these. Also counts as lampshading.
+ Guy!Natsuru's voice somehow shocked me, but later I buat tak kisah sebab: Marina Inoue, and also the canonical fact that Natsuru does sound like a girl.
+ Visuals (Yes I'm a sucker for these, and I'm very picky about this.)
+ Characters. Just don't ask me what I like about them. I like them as who and what they are.
- Too rushed. Heard a speculation that this will reach Chapter 10 of the... uh, manga probably, by EPISODE THREE.
- I'm not exactly sure about the future storyline but if every single girl in the show starts to fall for Kampfer/Girl!Natsuru then I guess it's time to drop it. Can't really stand such stuff.

Somewhat I have the feeling that it gonna be something like Akikan.Well not to say it sucked bad enough but yeah it's pretty decent for no-brainer kind of animu.

as said, the pacing was so rushed. probably the most rushed i've ever felt.

probably they think if not rush no action but this is too much
the plot got potential of something i like, but they totally rush it.
they should have like first episode introducing kampfer business, 2nd epi relation with akane, 3rd epi that fight there in the library at the end of this rushed episode.

Lucky i don't read the manga or novel..too many complains about Kampfer being too fast in the first episode,even till here.

Well given the lineup of powerhouse seiyuus this anime has offered,i have no complain about this series.I can imagine Tamura Yukari and Horie Yui laughing on the recording studio when their names were used on the parodies lol.

gg. but hatsuyuki is also good.

seem so too... as long as there's minimum mistake or perfect,
then watch either one is not a problem

but hatsuyuki sub in 720p!!
this makes a difference in visual enjoyment

gg does names in reverse like American style... Yui Horie instead of Horie Yui... but they use stuff like Natsuru-san too.. so they're kinda... lost in identity... lol.. who you wanna be?! choose one!!

imma following Hatsuyuki's.. gg's quality seems to have lowered for some reason

perhaps subbing more than 1 series is a bad idea then.
